HELLO, I'M ANNA-JANE.
My passion for performing, sound and music was born when I was 4. I was sitting under a black upright piano which the nursery teacher was playing. Seeing the keys go down under the pressure of her fingers was hypnotising. From that moment on I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
My parents, however, had different plans for me so I grew up believing that the thing I wanted the most was out of my reach and I didn’t quite understand why. I completed an MA in Applied Linguistics, as I had already been multilingual and thought it would be useful whatever I ended up doing. Since I thought I couldn’t do what I wanted, I started looking for a replacement career. My quest led me to the City of London where I worked for some great companies but I couldn’t help feeling that I was living somebody else’s life.

In 2007 I did my first acting course. Despite having a demanding job at Bloomberg, I continued taking classes and acting in shows outside of my office hours. In 2009 I started a one-year Musical Theatre course at the City Lit Drama School and in 2011 I was accepted onto one of the best drama schools in the UK - Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. It sounds like the end of my story but it was only the beginning, the beginning of a difficult, yet fulfilling journey.

8 years ago I got my first voice-over job and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then I've worked with award-winning studios and amazing brands, some of which are listed here. I like working in voice-over because it's fun and because, despite being an experienced voice actor, I still learn something new with each project I work on.
